Admission to the National Institute of Engineering & Technology (NIET) is open for students who want to build a career in Diploma in Engineering education. The institute follows a fair and transparent admission system for all applicants.

Eligibility:
Students must have passed SSC or HSC or equivalent examinations from a recognized board. All backgrounds, like science, Humanities and Business Studies are eligible for admission. Students from Vocational and Technical boards can also apply according to government rules. 

Students who have passed HSC with Science background, have Higher Mathematics, and obtained minimum GPA 2.0 in Higher Mathematics, are eligible for direct admission into the 3rd semester of Diploma in Engineering.

GPA Requirement:
Applicants must meet the minimum GPA requirement set by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and NIET admission policy. The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0. Any student who has passed SSC or HSC with GPA 2.0 or above is eligible to apply for admission in Diploma in Engineering programs.

Application Process:
Students need to collect the admission form from the admission office of NIET campus. After filling in the required information, students must submit the form with necessary documents. Applications are reviewed by the admission committee. Eligible candidates are selected based on GPA, academic background, and seat availability.
After selection, students must complete the admission by paying the required fees and submitting original documents for verification.
